Hi, I’m Wess and I started roasting coffee at home in 2011 because I love coffee and I figured what better way to drink it than to have it as fresh as can be. Since then, I’ve become even more passionate about freshly roasted coffee and sharing it with others.
Recently, I decided I wanted to make my coffee available to more people than just my friends and family, so we’re starting a little “Coffee CSA,” selling at our local farmer’s market and to small markets around town. This is just a side hobby for me as I have a fulfilling full-time job as an educator. This is my blog about the journey of learning a new business and sharing good coffee with Greensboro.
Why? Genuinely good coffee makes people happy! It is something you savor. It causes you to linger. To me, there’s something almost meditative about a yummy, warm cup of coffee in your hands. Coffee offer opportunities to connect with a friend or a colleague or to connect with an idea as you sit and read, reflect, or just listen to some music. If you have some of my coffee, I hope you have that kind of experience as well. And if you really like it, share it with a friend!
Thanks for stopping by,
