Caffeinated Update For The New Year

Happy New Year Fireweed Friends!

I hope you all had a lovely and safe New Year’s. We had a lovely gathering over at our house and brought the New Year in right, with kid-midnight at 10pm! 🙂

Here are some fireweed updates for you.

I’m writing to let you know that we will be back at the market this Saturday. I’ve got some great roasts that will be there, including a new Ethiopian bean (natural processed meaning extra flavorful), Costa Rica Honey Processed (a crowd favorite), an organic Colombia, and more. The previous week at the market, just before Christmas, I brought more than double the beans I usually bring and we still sold out. So if you’re interested in coming for beans, don’t wait until the last minute of the market. I can’t guarantee we’ll have anything left.

However, you can always order online or become a monthly coffee subscriber.

I am also going to experiment with offering a specific light-roasted just for pour-overs to highlight the flavor of the bean this Saturday, so those of you who are local can try it out if you’d like.

A couple other fun things:

I’m looking forward to 2019 and what it has in store for us as far as Fireweed Coffee is concerned. We’re going to continue to work on our roasts and hope to increase our output and accounts in the new year. To help with this, I got a great book for Christmas written by one of the owners of Zingerman‘s, one of our favorite places to go when we’re visiting family back in Ohio. I’m loving the book and learning a ton from it.
